NICHOLAS AND THE BEAN STALK

 This weeks challenge was to write about a fairy tale but you had to add make it into a Christmas fairy tale.

DIWALI

 Last week was a Diwali week we did every thing on Diwali. We watched videos and then we had to get a buddy to make a Diwali slideshow.

 Yesterday a guy from ASB called Jeff help teach us about money and how to spend it.

SIR APIRANA TURUPA NGATA

 This week our class topic was to make a slideshow on a famous  New Zealand Maori person who has changed and influenced the world. We got put into groups,in my group I had Felicity and Ty.

 For pets day we had to write a piece of writing explaining how we exercise our pets.

HOW TO EXERCISE FLUFFY 

Equipment:

Toy bone 

Ball 

 Method:

 1. First I get out a ball and place it on the floor.Then Fluffy jumps over that ball. 

 2. Next I make fluffy stand on the ball without falling off. 

3. Then I play a game of fetch with Fluffy by throwing his toy bone as far as I can and then Fluffy has to go and get the bone and bring it back to me.

 4. Lastly I get Fluffy to follow commands such as,sit,roll over and drop it. 

 5. Finally when all of that is done I give Fluffy his well deserved dog treat.

THE 2021 TOKYO OLYMPICS SHOULDN'T OF GONE  AHEAD

Imagine the scenario where a sports pavilion would be filled with several infected lungs and there would be absolutely no cure for this fatal ailment. 

This is the absolute thought which concerns my opinion that the 2021 Tokyo Olympics shouldn't have gone ahead during a time when fatality is in the air.

Covid 19,namely known as coronavirus is a deadly disease directly affecting the human respiratory system with no cure. It mainly spreads through the air and via body contacts. A highly crowded area such as the game's environment can be considered as a breeding nest for the virus.

Therefore, the ultimate reason to cancel the 2021 Tokyo Olympics is because the audience and the players are at a higher risk of contracting the virus. In a nutshell, global security can be maintained by social distancing and avoiding huge crowds of people. 

Therefore,I strongly believe that the 2021 Tokyo Olympics shouldn’t have gone ahead because players and the audience are at a higher risk of getting it, and it is unsafe.

CARLA’S SANDWICHES

Carla is a girl who likes to be different from others. Everyday Carla brings a unique sandwich but her friends don’t like her choice. Carla gets very disappointed when her friends tease her for the types of sandwiches she brings for her lunch. Her friends think that a salmon,pretzel,tomato sauce and jelly bean in a sandwich is gross. However on a school picnic when Buster didn’t bring his sandwich he tried Carla’s sandwich. Surprisingly he loved it and his classmates did too and they never teased Carla again.

Why I liked or dislike the story

I really liked the story because it teaches me that  we should not hurt feelings of others and not to judge someone as we never know the same person might help us one day.

I would recommend this book to all age groups.

This book is a fiction book.

What Is A Fraction

Today our teacher told us to write a document explaining what a fraction is. 

                                                             WHAT IS A FRACTION

 A fraction is a whole that is divided into parts. 

 Ex

 Mila has a whole pizza.Her friends Miley and Inshirah come over and want some of her pizza.Now Mila has to share her pizza. Mila has to cut the pizza into 3 parts so Mila,Miley and Inshirah get one slice each. 

There are two parts to a fraction. The first part is called a numerator and it goes on the top. A numerator is how many pieces are taken off. The second part is called a denominator; it goes on the bottom. A denominator means how many pieces are in the whole. 

 This is how you would write it.

How To Make A Hot Milo

 HOW TO MAKE A HOT MILO!!!

       Ingredients

• Milo powder

• Hot water

• Milk

• 1x marshmallow

• 1x Teaspoon

• 1x cup

Method

1.  Get out a cup, a teaspoon and milo powder.

2. Take out a cup and put it up the right way.

3. Open the lid of the milo powder tin and using the teaspoon put it in  the milo powder tin the right way and scoop 1 teaspoon of milo powder and put it into your cup. 

4. Now add half a cup of hot water.

5. Now add 1 quarter of milk into your cup.

6. Now add 1 marshmallow.

Now your hot milo is done and is ready for you to enjoy!!!
